Trevor Started back in 1967 as a landscaping and building contractor and soon started employing other tradesmen, undertaking property maintenance and general building services in Totnes.
In 1985 his son in-law James Hatfield joined the team straight from school and became a partner in 1991. At which point they changed their trading name to T & J Building Contractors.
Together they share over 65 years of experience in all aspects of the construction industry. T & J Building Contractors are based in Stoke Gabriel, near Totnes in South Devon and their work covers the south hams and Torbay area.
Their varied workforce has the flexibility and experience to undertake projects ranging from minor repairs and maintenance to major construction work and refurbishments. They pride their selves on quality workmanship and endeavour to reflect this in every type of job they undertake.
